About Palmetto Landscape

Started at eighteen.

Nikita Parijenko started Palmetto Landscape at eighteen, in North Charleston, with ordinary equipment and unglamorous jobs. Lawns, mulch, cleanups. What the company has now it earned one property at a time.

It is a landscape and hardscape business working across Charleston, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant and James Island. Small enough that the person who prices your job is the person standing in your yard on the day.

Why we work this way

Two complaints built this company.

Read what people in the Lowcountry write about their landscapers and the same two sentences keep coming back. He never showed up. Nobody would give me a price. The second one is rarely about the cost. It is about not knowing.

So those are the two we refuse to get wrong. You hear back the day you call. You get a real number before anyone starts, and you get told what is driving it instead of being handed a total to take on faith. And the job is finished when it is finished, with the edges cut, the clippings gone and the gate shut behind us.

Who turns up

You get the owner, not a call centre.

The number on this page rings Nikita. He walks the property, works out the price and is there when the work happens. Nothing is handed to a franchise office two states away, and nothing sits in a ticket queue over the weekend.

That is also the honest limit of a company this size. We take on what we can finish properly and we say so when a week is full, because a date we can keep is worth more to you than a date that sounds good on the phone.

What we do

Grounds and hardscape.

Six services keep a property looking like somebody is paying attention to it: lawn care, fencing, ground covers, sod, artificial turf and cleanups. What drives the cost of each one is set out on the site, which is not something you will find on another landscaping page in this city.

Beyond those, hardscaping. Patios, driveways, walls, irrigation and concrete. There is no instant price on that kind of work, so describe what you are planning and we will come and tell you straight what it takes.
