Lawn care, fencing and hardscape across Charleston. A real number before we start, and you hear back the day you call.
Palmetto Landscape is a residential landscaping and hardscape company in Charleston. Nikita Parijenko started it at eighteen and runs it the same way now: turn up on the day we said, finish the whole job, answer the phone before the day is out.
Ask anyone here what went wrong with their last landscaper and you get one of two answers. He stopped showing up. He would not give a straight price. We built the company around those two, and everything below is how that works in practice.
Learn more about us
Mowing on a schedule you can set your watch by, with every bed edged and the clippings cleared before we leave. Most Charleston lawns want weekly through the growing season and every two weeks once it slows down.

Privacy where you want it and a clean line where you don’t. Posts go in to depth and the run is strung before anything is fixed, because a fence leaning in year three was installed badly in year one.

Fresh hardwood mulch, long-needle pine straw or stone, over beds that get re-cut and edged before anything goes down. The line between bed and lawn should look like a decision.

A new lawn, supplied and laid. The ground gets stripped and graded first. Sod over bad ground is still bad ground, it takes a season to show you.

Turf that stays green through August and does not care how much shade the live oaks throw at it. It goes over a compacted stone base, so it drains like ground instead of holding water.

The reset. Storm debris, a season of leaf fall, an overgrown corner nobody has touched in two years, or a property that goes on the market next month.
Those six are the standing work. Hardscaping runs alongside them: patios, driveways, retaining walls, irrigation and concrete. Tell us what the property needs and you get a number, not a promise that somebody will be in touch.
Tell us what you needOne job for every service we run, each shot from the same spot on the day we quoted it and again on the day we finished. Same camera, same angle, same light. Nothing staged and no kinder angle picked for the second photograph.

A real Google review, left by a real customer and reproduced word for word. Nothing tidied up, nothing shortened.
Highly recommend Nikita from Palmetto Landscaping! He was so easy to work with and did an amazing job with our yard. He really listened to what we wanted and made everything look even better than we imagined. We're so happy with how it turned out and will definitely be using him again!
Ask a landscaper in this city what something costs and you will usually get a site visit you did not ask for, then silence. The complaint people make here is not that the work is expensive. It is that nobody will tell them anything. Below is what decides your number, service by service, before you pick up the phone.

Hardscaping, driveways, patios, retaining walls, irrigation and concrete are priced per job. Whatever the work, you get the figure before anyone starts, and it does not move unless you change what you asked for.
Describe the property, or send two photos of it. You get the figure the same day, before anyone drives out to look at it.
We tell you the day before you commit to anything, so you are not holding a price with no schedule attached to it.
Beds edged, clippings cleared, driveway blown off, gate shut. The yard should look finished, not worked on.
Ask and you get a figure the same day. What we will not do is dodge the question, which is the complaint people in Charleston make about this trade more than any other. Size and the state of the property drive most of it, and we will tell you which of those two is driving yours.
A weekly cut is one visit. Mulch and cleanups are usually a single day. Sod and turf depend on how much ground has to come out first, and fencing depends on the run and the number of gates. You get the number of days with the price, before you say yes.
The person who prices your job is the person standing in your yard. Call (843) 864-6504 and you get Nikita, not a dispatcher reading a script off a screen.
None that you have to deal with. Clippings cleared, beds edged, driveway and walk blown off, debris hauled away, gate shut behind us. If a neighbour cannot tell we were there apart from the yard looking better, we did it right.
You call the number at the top of this page and you reach the owner the same day. Nothing goes through a ticket queue, and nothing waits for Monday.
Nikita started Palmetto at eighteen after watching this trade lose customers the same two ways: it stops answering, and it will not name a price. Call this number and someone answers it. Ask what something costs and you get the figure.

We are based in North Charleston and the trucks stay inside the Lowcountry. If your property sits outside the list below, ask anyway. A straight no on the phone is worth more to you than a yes that never shows up.

Ground covers, sod, artificial turf, cleanups, hardscaping. Anything a satellite cannot measure we price by hand, and you get the figure the same day you send this.
